Great question! Like anything, best way is to take good care of it. When you use it, be sure to hose it off really good and let it completely dry before storing it. To clean the fabric, use a gentle soap and water, then rinse off well. Best place to store it is in a dry place such as a garage or shed.
The armrests are made of eucalyptus. To keep them in great shape, it's best to liberally wipe the eucalyptus down with 2-3 times per year linseed oil, tung oil or Danish oil. Let the oil remain on the surface of the wood and then wipe it off again.
